Police Arrest Two Over Drink Sale

Two persons were arrested Friday at Tom and Jean’s club, 7030 S. Lewis Ave., after Vice Officer Gary Glanz said he bought a mixed drink there.

Arrested by Sheriff’s Lt. Floyd Jordan were Winfred Johnson, 48, bartender, booked for illegal sale of an intoxicating beverage, and Clinton D. Tucker, 43, owner, booked on an open saloon charge. Both were released from the county jail to an attorney.
