Countermeasure Sweeps
Glanz & Associates provides a confidential and technical security survey program to assist corporate management or security directors in locating eavesdropping devices and other weaknesses in security and communication protection.
The program includes:
Plan Development
Every countermeasure job is different.
We develop a plan to address the specific circumstances of each assignment using information provided about the facility, the perceived enemy, the background and the current situation.
Telephone Analysis
We examine and test the telephone instruments, system and lines for normal operation and for eavesdropping methods which use existing equipment and wiring to conduct room audio to a remote listening post.
Using a modern T.D.R. we electronically test both modern electronic telephones and the older electromechanical phones for modifications that convert them into room monitors.
We also chart and fingerprint the telephone line to make a comparison for future test.
RF Threat Analysis
We conduct electronic test for different kinds of RF bugging threats as appropriate. Using a modern RF spectrum analyzer we check for radio transmitter bugs, including sound-activated systems. Telephones and telephone lines are checked with this analyzer for RF taps (transmission of telephone conversations to a remote listening post by radio).
Physical Search
We inspect target areas and telephone interconnect facilities for concealed recorder, suspicious wiring, modified communications or power equipment, etc.
Report And Recommendations
The technician reports as the operation progresses and will make a full oral report before leaving the premises.
He will submit a detailed written report within ten working days.
We never reveal the identity of our clients.
